King's Lynn was an important port during the Middle Ages. Sites of interest in the town include Thoresby College, which was constructed during the sixteenth-century and is Grade I listed. The Custom House was built in 1683 and is also Grade I listed. Other historic attractions in King's Lynn include the Town Hall and Trinity Guildhall, while the Grade II listed Corn Exchange was constructed in 1854.
